Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Abul-Hassan Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Asad Al-Asady, from Muhammad ibn Abi Ayoob al-Nahravi, from Ja’far ibn Sanid ibn Davood, from his father, from Yusuf ibn Muhammad ibn Munkadir, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
قالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمانَ بْنِ داوودَ لِسُلَيْمانَ عليهِ السَّلامُ:
The mother of Prophet Sulayman (pbuh) said to him:
إِيَّاكَ وَكَثْرَةَ النَّوْمِ بِاللَّيْلِ، فَإِنَّ كَثْرَةَ النَّوْمِ بِاللَّيْلِ تَدَعُ الرَّجُلَ فَقِيراً يَوْمَ القِيامَةِ.
“Beware of excessive sleep at night, for too much sleeping at night will leave a person poor on the Day of Resurrection.”
